It was a hot Saturday morning.
It took a strenous of 1hr30mins hike (5km) from the Botanical Gardens Road up to the Penang Hill. Well, I needed to burn that 300-400 calories!
Alternatively, we can take the Furnicular Train Up (RM8 for return, RM5 for one way).

Very calm and serene.. . totally different environment compared to newly opened food court. It’s as though I was at camerons highlands or maybe, frasers hill.
Aside from the main ground, at the lower terrace, there is a separate bar (it’s new!) for a perfect view of Georgetown city.

Super like! I could even see KOMTAR, but not sure, if it’s better for Sunrise or Sunset…

A tea jug for 2. Tasted like Lipton.
Expect a slow respond as they take time to carefully prepare each of our orders.
While waiting for the arrival of our food, best is to walk around for some photos and a chit-chats.

With this english afternoon set, it comes with 2 scones, 2 apple pies, 2 smoked bacon toast, 8 small slices of tuna and egg sandwiches, some grapes and strawberries.
Love the scones and the apple pie……
The scone was so soft that it melts together with the devonshire cream so well…
And I would be able to see every tiny slice of apple in the apple fillings. The pastry was soft and moist.

Photo taking session !
The environment is really nice here…. but price in the menu is slightly on the higher end. A cup of tea would cost RM10, and the whole set of english afternoon tea is RM79 (we bought at a discounted rate).
Also, take note if they are opened for business. If the train services are under maintenance, most probably the would not be open.
